PrioNet Antibody Core

A monoclonal antibody production facility is now operational within the Center for Prions and Protein Folding Diseases (CPPFD).  PrioNet researchers are encouraged to use this facility for the production of monoclonal antibodies and may begin the process by contacting Dr. Nat Kav with their request.  Requests are then vetted by the PrioNet Research Management Committee (RMC) prior to the initiation of any immunization experiments. There is no cost to the PrioNet researcher for use of this facility.

Once the biocontainment areas within the CPPFD are fully commissioned, future capacity of the antibody core will include raising antibodies against infectious material.
