PrioNet Transgenic Core

Transgenic core operations for PrioNet Canada are administered through the Center for Prions and Protein Folding Diseases (CPPFD) at the University of Alberta.  PrioNet researchers may use this supported facility for sourcing or creating prion-sensitized rodents.  Enquiries should first be directed to Dr. David Westaway, and requests are then vetted by the PrioNet Research Management Committee (RMC) prior to the initiation of any experimental procedures.
